For our client Powerpeers (location Amsterdam) we are looking for a Customer Success Manager. Powerpeers Connect is a scale-up company based in the Netherlands and servicing customers in the energy industry globally. We provide an online marketplace for self-generated and renewable energy which is provided to our customers as a white-label software-as-a-service solution.

Powerpeers enables people to lead sustainable lives by creating a marketplace and community in which consumers can decide from whom they receive their energy and who to supply with their self-generated energy. As well as sourcing self-generated electricity from friends, family or neighbours, users can also opt to source their electricity from one or more Dutch suppliers of wind, solar and hydropower. This enables customers to create their own personal community.

We are a small, high-energy, experienced, cooperative team with a can do mentality that is determined to make Powerpeers a great success around the world. Our ambition is to accelerate the energy transition by creating innovative customer value propositions. We working in an Agile way and have adopted the Scaled Agile framework in order to better manage the portfolio of platform requirements from our various customers over time.

This role will receive directions from the Chief Product Offier and will work closely with the sales team and the delivery teams building the social marketplace to successfully ensure the motivation, enthusiasm and quality of our client projects.

We are looking for the right candidate to fill the position of Customer Success Manager. Your responsibilities will involve:

  • Manage successful implementations of the Powerpeers Platform within our customers organisation and their consumer base
  • Maintain a cadence of communicating with customers about their adoption trends, sentiment, and mining opportunities for deeper engagement
    Identify opportunities for customers to act as Powerpeers advocates (e.g. testimonials, case studies)
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to support pilot customers, renewals, and expansion opportunities
  • Marshall resources across the Powerpeers teams as needed to support customer needs
  • Represent the voice of the customer to inform our sales process and product roadmap
  • Aid in product design and product development
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our implementation playbooks and other documentation
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the Powerpeers organisation

Basic qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Customer Success, Account Management, Business Development, or another client-facing role
  • Successful experience implementing Saas solutions as a Project Manager or Scrum Manager in an Agile setting
  • Experience in working with complex, multi-divisional, multi-geographical customers
  • Experience in the Energy/Utility sector preferred
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Product, Marketing, Services)
  • Relevant education and/or degree
