Your job mission is to design, maintain, adapt to changed output requirements and to optimize production processes as well as to develop and apply methods of measuring the performance of the production process.

In this function you lay down operating instructions, process flow charts, routings, process parameters and indicators. You will analyse production processes, point out structural problems and bottlenecks, work out suggestions for improvements and initiate their implementation, often in close cooperation with the surrounded departments as D&E, production Motion and IE. You bring your knowledge to bear on (new) product development projects, in order to foresee production problems in the design phase and in order to improve the reparability of the product and test design. Also you deliver technical support for the production process and prevent technical disturbances from repeating.

As holder of this position you report to the team leader Production Engineering Motion, who has a close connection to the PS organization within the Twinscan factory.

Over jou

Higher Technical College (hbo) Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electronics/ Applied Physics
Experience in a production environment with hightech products and complex production processes
Experience in the field of Technical Production Engineering and quality methodology such as statistical process control and FMEA is an advantage
Experience in the field of (semi-) automated production lines and control is an advantage
Broad technical and business knowledge
Good communication skills
Very active, plenty of initiative
Focused on quality, continuous improvement, good social and communication skills
Adequate English language skills in speech and writing

The department Motion within the Twinscan Factory is responsible for the production of linear actuators. The complete production process of the most advanced motors takes place within Motion. The Production Engineering department within Motion is responsible for the processes of Volume production (in the sustaining phase), continuously adapts and optimizes the production processes and provides support in connection with the organization.
