About this role

As troubleshoot engineer you will be in the lead as a problem owner to drive technical solutions for sustaining XT products. You will minimize downtime and reduce waste in the production and troubleshooting processes of XT products end to end: work centers, FASY, TEST and Install and ensure premium quality to our customers.

Your responsibilities wil be to take ownership of escalated issues to contribute to rapid solutions of complex technical issues, be the last escalation line for solving technical problems of ASML Twinscan XT systems. You will be able to clearly communicate the status of technical issues to all stakeholders, manage escalations in the factory and during install by involving different sectors like D&E, Manufacturing and/or Install Engineers. It is your responsability to prevent disturbances from re-occurring by implementing containments and to initiate structural solutions to add value to our primary production process. You will increase the competence maturity of a submodule by coaching production and troubleshoot engineers, and you will define manufacturing requirements based on Lessons Learned for ASML’s people, products and processes.

About you

  • BSc or MSc technical degree in: Optics, Mechanical, Electronics or Software
  • Experience with high tech products and complex production processes and LEAN processes
  • Proven work experience in analysis of complex problems
  • Project/escalation management skills
  • Team player and flexible
  • Good social and communication skills
  • Strong analytical mind
  • Hands-on mentality

Within this sector the department Delivery Operations (DO) is responsible for the qualification through functional testing of the complete ASML systems. All this is done in accordance with strict quality norms. The holder of the tester position reports to the Team leader TF DO Test 5 shift.
