About this role

The Network Security & Continuality/Network Tooling team delivers and maintains global network management tools and automation within this organization. The mean focus is to deliver and maintain applications which our Network Engineers use in there day to day network / security operations. This works is done in a small scrum team.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop network managements solution in a global environment;
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to fix incidents or problems, during business
    hours and do stand-by outsite the business hours;
  • Translate functional questions of NMS users in technical solutions;
  • Automate manual operations;
    - Security & Compliance;
    - Input for capacity planning;
  • Operational capacity management;
  • Owns relationship with stakeholders and vendors;
  • Manage software and hardware licenses and device upgrades where required;
    - Maintain operational support procedures;
  • Create and solve change and problem tickets;
  • LCM projects on NMS systems with our without vendors;
  • Maintain CMDB.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Solarwinds is a pre;
  • Proven deployment and support of Network Management Tools in general;
  • Experience in support and deployment of SNMP;
  • Experience in support and deployment of databases (SQL);
  • Experience in support and deployment of Perl, Pyton;
  • Experience in support and deployment AD authentication and certificates;
  • Experience in support and deployment of API’s;
  • Familiarity and usage of Network Management tools such as Splunk, Infoblox IPAM;
  • Familiarity with protocol analysis tools;
  • Generic knowledge of routing/switching/VPN/Firewalls/DNS networks;
  • Knowlegde of network management system support.
