We offer an interesting position in our customer's Element Manufacturing Engineering department for a machine engineer. The machine engineer is a technical specialist of a machine group and responsible for the total availability as well for the technical improvements.

About this role

You also have a support role for the successful (on-time, on-spec, on-budget) execution of new machine investment projects; e.g. development, order & release of new machinery lines in production / support the implementation and improvements of new applications on our existing production processes for tumbling. Furthermore you work closely together with the production operations department to organize problem solving actions in case of deviations.

Your key responsibilities will include: support and managing maintenance projects; preparation of maintenance plans; developing and maintaining of machine documentation sets (MDS). In this role you will be analyzing faults and maintenance data in order to continuously improve the maintenance plan. You will also be in charge of budgeting of maintenance plans, initiating technical improvements to reduce stop times and monitoring the maintenance plan, working methods and regulations by maintenance and production personnel.

About you

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 2 years work experience
  • Excellent communication skills, English (spoken & written)
  • Dutch language skills is not a must, but willingness to learn is!
  • Experience working with international colleagues
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, challenging and demanding environment
