About this role

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Philips, you will work closely with colleagues across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a seamless transition between the development and manufacturing stages. Also, you will be taking the lead in producing the first production models for projects within your remit.

While you’re doing this, you’ll be employing lean mythologies and DFX to implement changes within the process, to not only improve the quality of production, but also to increase yield and output whilst reducing cost.

This way, you’ll set the standard for projects by overseeing all process validation activities and discover new production methods both technical and logistic. Last but not least: working alongside the supply chain, design and purchasing teams to reach manufacturing requirements and create airtight processes, will put your creativity to the test and challenge your logistical skills.

About you

  • You are result-driven with a focus on quality and possess strong personal and communication skills
  • Confident in your abilities and bolstered by experience working for high-tech medical device businesses, you have an in-depth knowledge of FMEA, 8D, SPC, A3 and Lean Manufacturing
  • As well as an understanding of process validation disciplines (pMap, Pfmea, IQ, OQ, PQ)
  • You can also analyse field performance data, installation test-results and customer related complaints in order to initiate improvements with a quality driven approach
