About this role

After gaining some experience at Philips you will be able to have a high level overview on the system architecture and system itself Improving industrialization aspects such as automation, diagnostics, optimization, as well as develop and execute, initiate innovations, and champion significant projects. You will also translate the roadmaps into requirements, decompose high level requirements into functional/sub-functional areas; Evaluate and select appropriate and balanced approaches for achieving the industrialization goals; Provide presentations and reports as required to update stakeholders with plans and progresses, identify risks and opportunities, and support key decision points.

About you

  • Masters (MSc)/PhD degree in Electronics Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of system design and optimization of industrial systems
  • Ability to see the big picture and form a vision, at the same time to work on engineering developments
  • Ability to cross functional boundaries to build relationships with many areas in the company
  • Good interpersonal skills and a proven capability to clearly convey and discuss technical matters in both written and verbally
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills. Ability to influence, motivate, coach, and lead. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

You will receive a guidance from within Philips from their assigned Buddy. Every year contains a fixed program and an individual program specified to develop competences and personal needs. As you might have just graduated, we do not expect you to have (a lot of) experience in the field, therefore System Engineering Traineeship Program will give you the possibility to apply your learnt skills. You will be responsible for the realization and management of product quality and reliability targets in product creation projects, product requirements, product testing and verification in product creation projects. You will be responsible for SW and HW architectures and improving industrialization aspects such as automation, diagnostics, optimization and cycle time reduction.
