About this role

For our client, a world-wide leading technology company, we are currently looking for an Electromechanical Engineer who will focus on electrical design of connectors and cable routing for one mechatronic module.

In this role you will focus on definition, realisation, managing and maintainance of different parts of electrical systems within existing and future high tech equipment. These parts can include cables, racks, electrical cabinets, connection boxs, connection plates, motor and encoder connections, back panels, rear panels, operator consoles, fan units, computers, computer racks and cabling.

Your tasks will include 3D (and 2D) CAD design and generation of TPD. You will also ensure the high quality by providing the input for the reviews of own work and by participation in reviews of other engineers. You deliver a contribution to the work breakdown and planning of the different electrical parts in cooperation with the other stakeholders.


  • Minimum: a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems or Mechanical Engineering
  • Work experience as a Designer, including experience with multidisciplinair modules
  • Specific knowledge of electrical systems such as cables, connectors and interface plates
  • Experience with Unigraphics NX
  • Technical knowledge of cable concepts, connectivity, EMC and safety
